Knitting instructions:

Age: For 0-6 months.

You will need:

Yarn (100% acrylic, 400 m/100 g) - 150 g of variegated yarn

Needles size 2.5

Crochet hook size 2

Main pattern: the number of stitches should be a multiple of 6 + 2 edge stitches.

1st and all odd rows - knit stitches.

2nd and 4th rows - alternate 3 purl sts with 3 knit sts.

6th and 8th rows - knit stitches.

10th and 12th rows - alternate 3 knit sts with 3 purl sts.

14th and 16th rows - knit stitches.

Repeat rows 1 - 16.

Knitting gauge: 20 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Description of work:

Cast on 180 sts and knit with the main pattern for 90 cm. Bind off all stitches. Crochet a border around the entire perimeter of the piece according to the pattern. Make one tie in the form of a chain of 20 chain stitches at each of the three corners, embellish the ends with tassels. To form the envelope, tie all three ties together (see photo).
