Work Description
Using "I love you" yarn, cast on 47 stitches and knit the sole as follows: Row 1: Knit 1, yarn over, knit 21, yarn over, knit 1, yarn over, knit 21, yarn over, knit 1. Row 2 and all even rows: Knit all stitches. Row 3: Knit 2, yarn over, knit 21, yarn over, knit 3, yarn over, knit 21, yarn over, knit 2. Continue increasing every other row as established until there are 67 stitches in the work.
For the foot, knit 6 rows in garter stitch, 6 rows in fancy pattern, and 6 rows in garter stitch. Then, set aside 28 stitches on each side, and continue knitting the middle 11 stitches in garter stitch for the front part, joining the last stitch of the front part with the next set-aside stitch at the end of each row until 17 set-aside stitches remain on each side = 45 stitches.
For the leg, knit all stitches for 1 row, then 1 row of eyelets, and 12 rows in garter stitch. Bind off all stitches. Sew the sole seam, as well as the back seam of the heel and leg. Edge the top of the leg with lace border using "Mako-8" yarn.
Cut the satin ribbon into 4 equal parts. Thread one ribbon through the eyelet row of the fancy pattern and tie a bow on the outer side. Thread another ribbon through the eyelet row on the leg and tie a bow at the center front.
