Knitting instructions:

Tunic size: 42

Materials:

  • 300 g of white yarn (91% viscose, 9% metallic thread, 500 m/100 g), 100 g of dark pink yarn of the same quality.
  • Circular knitting needles No. 2.
  • Crochet hook No. 2.

Lace pattern: knit according to Chart 1. The chart shows the right side rows; purl rows should be knitted as shown. Repeat from the 1st to the 14th row vertically. The chart indicates which rows to knit with white or dark pink yarn.

Knitting the tunic:

Back piece: Cast on 186 stitches and knit in the lace pattern according to Chart. At a height of 46 cm from the cast-on edge, to shape the armholes, bind off 3 stitches once, then 2 stitches once, and 1 stitch twice on every right side row on both sides. At a height of 61 cm from the cast-on edge, bind off all stitches.

Front piece: Knit as the back piece but with a deeper neckline. To do this, at a height of 46 cm from the cast-on edge, bind off the middle 10 stitches and then continue knitting both sides separately. To shape the neckline, bind off 4 stitches once, then 3 stitches once, and 1 stitch three times on every right side row on both sides. At a height of 61 cm from the cast-on edge, bind off all stitches.

Sleeves: Cast on 56 stitches and knit in the lace pattern according to Chart 1. To increase the width of the sleeve, add 1 stitch on each side in every 9th row six times. At a height of 23 cm from the cast-on edge, to shape the sleeve cap, bind off 3 stitches once, then 2 stitches once, and 1 stitch twelve times, followed by 2 stitches twice, and finally 3 stitches twice on every right side row on both sides. At a height of 35 cm from the cast-on edge, bind off all stitches.

Assembly: Sew the shoulder and side seams. Attach and sew in the sleeves. Edge the neckline with a round of slip stitches using the dark pink yarn and a crochet hook.
