You will need:
- 400 g of yellow-red mélange yarn (100% acrylic, 120 m/200 g);
- Double-pointed needles No. 10;
- Circular needles No. 12;
- Crochet hook No. 8.
Ribbing 2/2: alternate 2 knit sts, 2 purl sts.
Main pattern: knit in circular rows. Rows 1-5: *K2, P2, K2, P2, K4, P2, K2, P2, K2, P2, repeat from * once. Row 6: knit stitches as they appear, only twist 4 knit stitches (leave 4 sts on a cable needle, turn them 180° to the right, then knit the sts). Repeat from row 1 to row 6.

Work description: On double-pointed needles, cast on 44 sts and knit in the main pattern. After 18 rows from the cast-on edge, in each purl track, knit 2 sts together purlwise = 34 sts. In the 22nd row, knit stitches as they appear. In the 23rd row, *twice knit 2 sts together twisted, K2, twice knit 2 sts together, P1, repeat from * once.
