Knitting the vest
Front
1. Cast on 57 stitches and knit, alternating 2 purl and 9 knit stitches.
2. At a height of 18 cm, continue knitting with the pattern indicated in the diagram and knit 9 cm. Along the inner edge of the left front, make 3 buttonholes.
3. After 9 cm of the pattern, to form the armhole, close 4, 3, 2, and 1 stitch from the outer edge of the fabric.
4. At a total height of 30 cm, to form the neckline, start knitting, decreasing 1 stitch from the inner edge of the fabric in each row.
5. At a height of 19 cm from the armhole, close the remaining shoulder stitches.

1. Cast on 101 stitches and knit, alternating 2 purl and 9 knit stitches.
2. At a height of 18 cm, continue knitting with the pattern indicated in the diagram and knit 9 cm.
3. After 9 cm of the pattern, to form the armholes, close 4, 3, 2, and 1 stitch from each edge.
4. At a height of 17 cm from the armholes, to form the neckline, close 50 central stitches at once. Knit another 2 cm from the remaining shoulder stitches and close all stitches.
