You will need:

  • 300 g of Alpina "RENE" yarn (100% mercerized cotton; 105 m/50 g) in red;
  • Gamma knitting needles No. 4;
  • Auxiliary needle;

Pattern: Knit according to the chart. Knit the stitches before the repeat, repeat the pattern, and finish with the stitches after the repeat.

Gauge: 22 stitches x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with No. 4 needles in the pattern.

Work process:

Back: Cast on 101 stitches + 2 edge stitches with No. 4 needles and knit 1 row in purl stitches. Then knit 84 rows in the pattern. To shape the side seams, decrease 1 stitch on each side in the 8th row from the start, then decrease 1 stitch every 6th row 3 times. You will have 95 stitches on the needles. After 31 rows from the start, increase 1 stitch on each side, then increase 1 stitch every 6th row 3 times. You will have 103 stitches on the needles. To shape the armholes, in the 86th row from the start, bind off 4 stitches on each side, then bind off 2 stitches in the next row, and 1 stitch 3 times in every 2nd row. You will have 85 stitches on the needles.

To shape the shoulder line, in the 102nd row from the start, increase 1 stitch on each side, then increase 1 stitch every 4th row 4 times, and 1 stitch every 2nd row 4 times. You will have 103 stitches on the needles. To shape the neckline, in the 128th row from the start, bind off the center 31 stitches and then bind off 3 stitches 2 times, 2 stitches 2 times, and 1 stitch 3 times on each side of them in every 2nd row.
