Knitting materials and tools:
Double-pointed knitting needles 3.5 mm (US 4).
Cascade 220 – 100% Peruvian Highland Wool: 100 grams -220 yards (200 meter) per skein.
Weight Category – 4 (medium).
Yarn needle, scissors, tape measure.
Men’s knit headband size:
Length: 45 cm (18”).
Width: 10 cm (4”).
Head circumference: 54-56 cm (21-22”).

k – knit
p – purl
Men’s headband knitting pattern:
Cast on 28 stitches.
Row 1: k3, p2, k2, p2, k10, p2, k2, p2, k3.
Row 2: holding the working yarn in the front slip next 3 sts purlwise, k2, p2, k2, p2, k6, p2, k2, p2, k2, holding the working yarn in the front slip next 3 sts purlwise.
Rows 3, 5, 7: Repeat Row 1.
Rows 4, 6, 8: Repeat Row 2.
Row 9: k11, p2, k2, p2, k11.
Row 10: holding the working yarn in the front slip next 3 sts purlwise, k6, p2, k2, p2, k2, p2, k6, holding the working yarn in the front slip next 3 sts purlwise.
Rows 11, 13, 15: Repeat Row 9.
Rows 12, 14, 16: Repeat Row 10.
Repeat Rows 1-16 as many times as needed (I repeated pattern 9 times for the head circumference 54 cm). Stop knitting after Row 8 or after Row 16.
Cut the yarn leaving a 30-40 cm tail, thread it onto a blunt tapestry needle and join edges using a horizontal invisible seam. For more instructions, check the video tutorial. Weave in ends.
