I used two skeins of Hometown USA in Neon Pink with size 13 circular needles.
FC: sl 3 sts to dpn, hold in front, k2, sl the p st from dpn to left handed needle and p it, k2 from dpn
BC: sl 3 sts to dpn, hold in back, k2, sl the p st from dpn to left handed needle and p it, k2 from dpn
Co72, join without twisting, pm
Rows 1,2,3,5,6,7: *p2, (k2, p1) 4 times, k2, p2; rep from * across to end
Row 4: *p2, k2, (p1, FC) twice, p2; rep from * across to end
Row 8: *p2, (BC, p1) twice, k2, p2; rep from * across to end
Repeat rows 1-8 until nearly out of yarn. Bo off the the established ribbing pattern after a row 6.
Weave in all ends.
This pattern is fairly quick with the chunky yarn. The five stranded braid cable is a beautiful pattern with the lovely texture, and looks nice with a bold color like this.
My finished cowl is 30" around and 9" tall.
