Instructions

KNITTED FLAT ON STRAIGHT NEEDLES:
Cast On Multiples of 13 Stitches

  1. Row 1 (right side): Knit All
  2. Row 2 (wrong side): Knit All
  3. Row 3: Knit All
  4. Row 4: Purl All
  5. Row 5: * K4, (YO, K1) 5 times, YO, K4 *
    For each multiple, you will have increased six stitches to 19.
  6. Row 6: Purl All
  7. Row 7: * (K2TOG) 3 times, K7, (SSK) 3 times *
    For each multiple, you will have decreased six stitches to the original 13.
  8. Row 8: Knit All

Once your work is the length you desire, repeat Rows 1 and 2, then bind off.

KNITTED IN-THE-ROUND ON CIRCULAR OR DOUBLE-POINTED NEEDLES:

Cast On Multiples of 13 Stitches

  1. Row 1: Knit All
  2. Row 2: Purl All
  3. Row 3: Knit All
  4. Row 4: Knit All
  5. Row 5: * K4, (YO, K1) 5 times, YO, K4 *
    For each multiple, you will have increased six stitches to 19.
  6. Row 6: Knit All
  7. Row 7: * (K2TOG) 3 times, K7, (SSK) 3 times *
    For each multiple, you will have decreased six stitches to the original 13.
  8. Row 8: Purl All
