Instructions

STRAWBERRY BOBBLE

Step 1 - (K1, P1) twice MC

  • Knit into one stitch and keep the yarn on your left-hand needle.
  • Bring your working yarn to the front, then purl into that same stitch with your right-hand needle.
  • Keeping that yarn on your left needle, bring your working yarn to the back and knit into that same stitch again with your right needle.
  • Then finish by keeping it on your left needle, bringing the yarn to the front, and purl the stitch with your right needle.
  • You may now release the increased stitches from your left needle.
  • Where you began with just one stitch, you have increased it to four.

  • Step 2 -Turn work to the wrong side: P4 MC

    Step 3 -Turn work to the right side: K4 CC

    Step 4 -Turn work to the wrong side: P4 CC

    Step 5 -Turn work to the right side: SSK, K2Tog, and Pass SSK over K2Tog CC


    KNITTED FLAT ON STRAIGHT NEEDLES

    Cast On: Multiples of 4 plus 5

    Set-up:

    • Row 1 (Right Side): Knit All CC
    • Row 2 (Wrong Side): Knit All CC
    • Row 3: Knit All MC
    • Row 4: K2, P to last 2 stitches, K2 MC


    Strawberry Stitch Pattern:

    • Row 1 (Right Side): K2 MC, * Strawberry Bobble, K3 MC * to last 3 Sts, Strawberry Bobble, K2 MC
    • Row 2 (Wrong Side): K2 MC, P1 CC, * P3 MC, P1 CC * to last 2 Sts, K2 MC
    • Row 3: K4 MC, * Strawberry Bobble, K3 MC * to last 4 Sts, K4 MC
    • Row 4: K2 MC, P2 MC, * P1 CC, P3 MC * to last 5 Sts, P1 CC, P2 MC, K2 MC


    Finishing:

    • Row 1 (Right Side): Knit All MC
    • Row 2 (Wrong Side): K2, P to last 2 Sts, K2 MC
    • Row 3: Knit All CC
    • Row 4: Knit All CC
    • Bind Off
