Shape Underarms
Underarms are created by binding off sts before and after each marker to create armholes, and the front and back will then be worked separately.
Note: Gauge tends to change when switching from in the round to fat knitting. Change needle size as needed to maintain gauge.
Underarm BO and Front/Back Division

Work in Garter St for 6 rows, ending with a RS row.
Next Row (WS): Place 8 sts on stitch holder, BO all sts to last 8 sts, k 8.
FIRST STRAP
Work over these 8 sts in Garter St until strap is desired length.
Place these 8 sts on a stitch holder and set aside.
SECOND STRAP Join yarn to other side of tank front, and work as for front strap.
BACK SIDE
Join yarn to left-hand side of tank back, and work as FRONT SIDE, including straps.
FINISHING
