Repeat Round 1 until reaches your desired brim width – approx.. 3 inches shown
BODY:
Set Up Round: kfb, *k1, p1* around - 1 st increase to 57 sts
Round 1: [K1, p1] to end, ending in k1.
Round 2: [P1, k1] to end, ending in p1.
Repeat Rounds 1 & 2 alternately (Seed Stitch), ending with a Round 1- approx. 20 rounds or until you reach desired hat body length – approx. 7 inches from brim shown

Note: Switch to dpns when there are too few sts to fit on the circular needle.
Round 1: [P1, k1, p1, k1, p2tog, k2tog] to end; end with p1; 43 sts remain.
Round 2: [K1, p1, k2tog, p2tog] to end; end with k1; 29 sts remain.
Round 3: [p1, k1, p2tog, k2tog] to end; end with p1, k1, p2tog, k1; 20 sts remain.
Round 4: [K2tog, p2tog] to end; 10 stitches remain
Round 5: [K2tog] around; 5 sts remain
Using needle, weave in tail through the remaining stitches to close up hat peak.
