You need:
- straight needles 3 mm
(UK 11/US 2½)
-yarn in white, yellow (orange or green)
Using yellow yarn CO 40 sts
Rows 1-2: knit
Rows 3-11: st st start with p (9 rows)
Row 12: (k2tog) to the end of the row (20 sts)
Row 13: p
Change to white yarn.
Rows 14-21: st st, start with k (8 rows)
Row 22: (k2tog) to the end of the row (10 sts)
Row 23: p
Shaping the head:
Row 24: (k1, m1) to the end of the row (20 sts)
Rows 25-33: st st. start with p (9 rows)
Row 34: (k2tog) to the end of the row (10 sts)
Row 35: p
Cut a long end of yarn, close with mattress stitch. Stuff the white part and separate the head using running stitch.
Ears
Make two.
CO 4 sts using white yarn.
Rows 1-14: knit every row
Row 15: (k2tog) x2 (2 sts)
Row 16: k
Row 17: k2tog (1st)
Limbs
CO 4 sts. Knit an I-cord
Knit two long about 1 inch (arms) and 2 long about 2 ½ inches (legs). Fold the ends of the legs.
