Bell cat toy knitting pattern:

Row 2: slip 1 purlwise, M1R, k22, k2tog. Turn.

Row 4: Repeat Row 2.
Row 5: repeat Row 1.
Row 6: Repeat Row 2.
Row 7: repeat Row 1.
Row 8: Repeat Row 2. Cut the yarn
Color B: In the rows where you change color, always knit the first stitch instead of slipping it. Slip the first stitch in all other rows. Repeat Row 1 and 2 for the same number of times as the previous color section. Cut the yarn. Tie a knot between the tail of the previous color and the beginning tail of the new color. Do not weave in the ends, as we will hide all tails inside the ball.
Change to Color A and repeat the pattern. Continue knitting, alternating colors for a total of 6 stripes.
The piece now measures 16 cm in length. Bind off all stitches. Cut the yarn, leaving a 40-45 cm tail. Thread the tail and join the two sides using the horizontal invisible stitch. Tuck all short tails inside the formed tube and close one opening by weaving the yarn needle back and forth. Pull tight to close the hole. Stuff the ball with fiber and jingle bells, shaping it as you go. Using the new tail, close the opposite side of the tube to form a cute little ball. If you plan to use the ball as a Christmas tree decoration, leave the tail long enough to hang it on the tree.
