Knitting instructions:

Sundress size: 38

You will need:

  • DIVA BATIK yarn
  • Color No. 4572, quantity: 5 skeins.
  • Needles No. 3.
  • Crochet hook No. 9.

Knitting the sundress:

Front and back

1. Cast on 126 stitches.

2. Knit with the pattern indicated on the chart, working 13 stitches in stockinette stitch on each edge.

3. At a height of 40 cm (hip line), decrease by knitting, reducing 1 stitch from each edge 10 times in every 7th row.

4. Knit another 5 cm from the remaining 106 stitches (waistline).

5. Continue knitting, increasing 1 stitch from each edge 10 times in every 7th row.

6. You will again have 126 stitches on the needles. Knit another 10 cm straight without any increases or decreases.

7. To shape the slant, close 2 stitches from each edge of the fabric, then continue knitting, working 4 stitches in a 1x1 rib on each edge and decreasing 2 stitches after and before these 4 edge stitches in every row until there are 34 stitches left on the needles.

8. Bind off the remaining 34 stitches and finish the knitting of the fabric.

Collar

1. Separate the green segments of the yarn. Chain a 50 cm long chain.

2. Join the chain into a ring and knit a row of half double crochet stitches without a yarn over.

3. In the middle of the front and back part, knit by turning the work and adding half double crochet stitches without a yarn over (to increase the width at the end).

4. When the shoulder height reaches 4 cm, and the height at the front and back part reaches 7 cm, finish the knitting.
