Instructions:
Pullover Size: 36/38
Materials Needed: 200 g of beige Baby Alpaca yarn (100% baby alpaca wool, 170 m/50 g); knitting needles No. 7; crochet hook No. 6.
Stockinette Stitch: Knit rows - knit stitches, purl rows - purl stitches.
Garter Stitch: Knit stitches on both knit and purl rows.
Lace Pattern: The number of stitches is a multiple of 12 + 1 + 2 edge stitches. Knit according to the chart, which shows the knit rows. In the purl rows, all stitches and yarn overs are purled.
Start with the edge stitch and the stitches before the repeat, repeat the stitches of the pattern, and end with the stitches after the repeat and the edge stitch. Repeat from the 1st to the 10th row.
Gauge:
Stockinette Stitch: 15 sts and 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Garter Stitch: 15 sts and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Lace Pattern: 15 sts and 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Work process:
Upper Back Piece: Cast on 60 sts and work in stockinette stitch. After 1 cm = 2 rows from the cast-on edge, decrease 1 x 2 sts on each side for the armholes, then decrease 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row 4 times = 48 sts. After 18 cm = 36 rows from the cast-on edge, bind off the middle 18 sts for the neckline and finish each side separately. For rounding, decrease 1 x 1 st on the inner edge in every 2nd row 3 times. After 22 cm = 44 rows from the cast-on edge, bind off the remaining 12 shoulder sts.
Left Lower Back Piece and Left Front Piece: For the lower back piece, cast on 40 sts and work in stockinette stitch. After 20 cm = 40 rows from the cast-on edge, place a marker thread on the right edge (inner edge) where the lower back piece ends. After 37 cm = 74 rows from the cast-on edge, increase 1 x 1 st on the left edge for the neckline, then alternately in every 2nd and 4th row increase 14 x 1 st and in every 4th row 6 x 1 st. At the same time, after 53 cm = 106 rows from the cast-on edge, bind off 1 x 5 sts on the right edge for the armhole, then in every 2nd row 11 x 1 st and 2 x 2 sts. For the shoulder, bind off 1 x 28 sts in the next 2nd row (67 cm = 134 rows from the cast-on edge). To round off the edge, bind off 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row 3 times. After 75 cm = 150 rows from the cast-on edge, bind off the remaining 10 front stitches. Crochet the entire edge of the left front piece with 1 row of slip stitches.
Right Lower Back Piece and Right Front Piece: Knit symmetrically.
Sleeves: Cast on 39 sts and work 1 cm = 3 rows of garter stitch for the cuff, starting with 1 purl row. Continue with the lace pattern. After 21 cm = 40 rows from the cuff, increase 1 x 1 st on each side for the sleeve shaping, then in every 4th row increase 4 x 1 st according to the pattern = 49 sts. After 31.5 cm = 60 rows from the cuff, switch to stockinette stitch. After 7 cm = 14 rows from the end of the lace pattern, decrease 1 x 3 sts on each side for the sleeve cap, then in every 2nd row decrease 1 x 2 sts, 8 x 1 st, and 2 x 2 sts. After 19 cm = 38 rows from the end of the lace pattern, bind off the remaining 15 sts.
Assembly: Sew the cast-on edges of the lower back pieces together; the seam will be the center of the back. Sew the inner edges of the lower back pieces to the upper back piece up to the marker. Twist the front pieces once from right to left (with the stockinette stitch on the outside). Sew the side seams up to 1 cm from the start of the armhole (see * on the pattern). Sew the inner edges of each front piece together from the end of the side seam for 13 cm. On the shoulder seams of the front pieces, fold a 5 cm pleat towards the neckline so that the shoulder width corresponds to 8 cm. Sew the shoulder seams. Sew the back seam of the neckline trim and attach the trim to the neckline. Sew the sleeve seams and sew the sleeves into place.
