You will need:
4 x 4mm dpn
Red DK yarn
Green DK yarn
Stuffing
Strawberry
Cast on 6 (2 stitches on 3 needles)
Knit 1 rotation
Knit front and back on every stitch (leads to 4 stitches on each needle)
Knit 2 rotations
Knit 1 front and back, knit 2, knit 1 front and back – repeat on the other 2 needles. This will give you 6 stitches on each needle
Knit 3 rotations
Knit 1 front and back, knit 4, knit 1 front and back – repeat on the other 2 needles. This will give you 8 stitches on each needle
Knit 1 rotation
Knit 2 red, knit 1 green, knit 2 red, knit 1 green, knit 2 red. Repeat on other two needles.
Knit 1 red, knit 3 green, knit 1 red, knit 2 green, knit 1 red. Repeat on other two needles.
Knit 1 rotation green
K2 tog, knit 4, k2 tog. Repeat on other two needles.
Knit 1 rotation
Stuff at this point
K2 tog over whole rotation
Slip 1, k2 tog, psso. Repeat on other two needles.
You now have 3 stitches, one on each needle. Slip onto one needle.
Continue with icord for 4 rows.
Cast off
Decorate with small yellow stitches as seeds if you like.
